Window of Opportunity

God sometimes offer us a window of opportunity to obey and then it is gone. Rain was predicted all week, but as I sat at my desk I could see blue skies through the blinds. I thought that I needed to get outside and go for a walk to enjoy the day, but I just kept working. When I finally got my jacket on and headed out the door, clouds had covered the sun and it was breezy. I had missed the window of opportunity to enjoy the beautiful day. My friend Paula reminded me that God gives us opportunities in our life. We have a choice to whether or not we will walk through the door of obedience or if we will choose to live our lives according to our own will. God wants our obedience. He actually demands it. In Leviticus 18:4 it says, “ You must obey my laws and be careful to follow my decrees.
