Laughter the Best Medicine Some friends from Boulder were up in the mountains visiting us for the weekend, so we hopped on the bikes and rode to City Market to get a salad for lunch. Sue, Cathy and I decided just to sit on the concrete ledge outside of the store in the bright sunshine to enjoy the fall day. Since we don’t get to see each other often there was a lot to catch up on, so we stayed for quite a while enjoying the fellowship and the warmth of the sun. The three of us are an unusual mix. We met in Boulder at the Newcomers Club and although we had drastically different backgrounds, we just hit it off and became fast friends. Simply said, we just like each other and can always pick right up where we left off. Cathy is the youngster in the group and has no kids, unless you call Frankie, the adopted cat, her baby; Sue has 3 kids about the same ages as mine and I’m not quite sure how many critters she has at the moment.
